In 1992 I was living in Buenos Aires (Argentina). In December that year, I decided to go on a 5 day-trip on my own in the direction of the South of this vast and amazing country to visit Bariloche town and San Martin de los Andes, right on the border of Chile. I remember going on a day tour to some town in Chile – I can’t remember the name right now – and there were many artisan shops that sold handmade Rosa Mosqueta (Rose-hip) skincare products. I heard that this flower oil had a powerful anti-ageing properties, but I was in my early 20’s and I wasn’t really interested in any anti-ageing stuff, as you normally think at that age that you will never get old 😉 So I completely ignored this and I didn’t even go near the shops. I was distracted with the landscape, the field full of this beautiful Rosehip flowers and the LOVELY people that I met from all parts of the world.
I totally regret that now, as I could have learned sooo much at that moment, especially because I was in the unique place where Rosehip is harvested. The only place in the whole world: Chile! In Chile they call this extraordinary flower the “eternal youth flower” – and it is indeed!
Organic Rosehip oil saved my face in 2008 when I burned half of it while cooking. I went to the hospital and the dermatologist prescribed me Organic Rosehip Oil, 1 drop 3 times a day for 2 weeks and… It worked! I don’t have ANY scars, marks or anything at all from that accident. At that moment I had a flash-back of my trip to Chile when I saw these lovely flowers and I completely ignored their benefits. I remember saying I don’t need any anti-ageing product as I am far too young for that.
Organic Rosehip Oil has become my best friend since 2008 as my skin also suffered a lot of sun damage – I come from Malaga and had lived there for 40 years. Rosehip Oil is the only oil that keep my brown spots under control and, what’s more, it is definitely anti-ageing as I can see other women my age – or even younger! – and they have many more wrinkles than me… I guess they haven’t discovered Rosehip Oil yet! Actually, I don’t have wrinkles (yet), I just have a few lines 🙂
Not only I personally use this product, I am also proud to stock it in my little shop:
Make sure that you use certified Organic and cold-pressed Rose-hip Oil that has orange color like the one in the picture. The ones that are transparent have been refined/diluted and have lost properties, therefore they won’t work as much as the organic one.
You can use it on its own like a serum or before your moisturizer. You could add 1 drop to your moisturizer and/or foundation and you will get a beautiful, natural glow.
Other wonderful organic products that contain Organic Rose-hip Oil in their formulas are MATARRANIA also available @ Wapo
Enjoy! Ah and BTW, we have the BEST PRICE for Organic Rosehip Oil in Ireland 😉
