Bobby Kerr and me 2014

I can feel the tiredness today after a long busy day yesterday in the #bizexpo2014 in The Red Cow Hotel where I was exhibiting my small business . But it is one of those happy tiredness feeling . It was certainly an inspiring, and motivating experience and this is exactly what you need when you are an entrepeneur and run your business on your own.

I have to say there was a great positive encouraging environment meeting lovely people running all sort of businesses. People who are in the same boat as me. People who suffers their ups and dows while working hard growing their businesses.

The atmosphere was dinamic, busy, warm and with a lot of good vibes .  You could breath ambition and hard work . Met some business owners from FB and it is always nice to put a face to the names such a Lynda from Designed4you, Michelle from Funky Crayons, Lisa from Lisa Heeney Natural body care products , Barbara the organizer of the event from whatswhat.ie all of them powerful and inspiring woment  also saw some others that I have known for a while now like the lovely Mary Drea from Addiebeads who started being one of my first customers who bought MATARRANIA products in Ireland and she absolutely loves it and keep using it after 2 years , she became a FB friend with the time.  The busy Samantha Kelly from Tweeting Goddess with her cool t-shirt saying “Follow me @twittergoddess ” on her back .  David from David McAuley phography with a huge and intimidating camera .

I have talked and talked for hours with a lot of new people and got new customers who loved my products and many others who found interesting WapoBeauty mission of using chemical-free cosmetics.  Women couldn’t help to stop at my stand as the smell from the essential oils in MATARRANIA testers  was captivating .

While having a nice chat with Mary Drea behind my stand she pointed Bobby Kerr out for me and said: “You need this man here look ” …and I went “wow”…I said loud: I would love to have a picture with him and the logo of my business behind us…so the guy in the next stand to me called Bobby and he kindly came and asked me what I wanted and he suggested about a selfie …. yeah why not ? I said ….so here it goes …sharing my selfie everywhere …

By the way he is much taller than I though and the skin on his face is flawless .

  1. Ah what a lovely blog Mayca. Thank you very much for the mention of my website. It truly was lovely chatting to yourself, Michelle, Mary and others yesterday. I’m looking forward to letting my daughter use the soap for eczema and hopefully it’ll do the trick for her. I am using the moisturiser too, so will keep you posted on how it is working for me.
    Thank you,
