Besides working with surfactants to make washing products require a certain level of knowledge on cosmetic science and formulation. Having said this once you learn the cosmetic formulation principles you will be able to create any type of product for face, body and hair.
Rest assure you will get a good foundation knowledge in this course . If you are interested in making face wash, I will include a formula and method in the practical section (please remind me when you are at this point of the course) for everyone. However I insist you must learn the theory and practice of making all products in this course correctly and properly so you will be ready to work with surfactants to making all type washing products.
