Hello, could i ask you to clarify please if Sodium Benzoate and Potassium benzoate reacts with citric acid? I always see it used in natural cosmetics. Thank you
Hi Edita, this is common because citric acid is used to regulate pH . SB and Potasium Sorbate (not benzoate) are common preservatives. If you see them on a label of a product , the product has been assessed for safety to be on the market .
