CRUELTY FREE MAKEUP AND COSMETICS BRANDS
Few days ago I shared a list of makeup and cosmetics brand that still testing on animals đ that I saw in a post on Facebook . I saw that this list (at the bottom) belongs to crueltyfreekitty.com an USA comprehensive website educating and making people aware about cruelty-free makeup and cosmetic brands all over the world. I had a glance and it looks really good site but of course I haven’t checked every single brand if is natural /organic product apart from cruelty-free.
Needless to say I totally encourage cruelty-free and neither do I use animal ingredients in my skincare making classes and bespoke products. But I think all these new awareness and conscientious about cruelty-free and vegan products tend to overlook other important facts that are harsh chemicals, toxins ingredients in these cruelty-free and vegan products that can be potentially harmful to us : humans and the environment . Our planet is currently suffering a massive contamination from plastic waste and skincare and cosmetics
I would like to clarify that NOT ALL cruelty-free and vegan products are natural and/organic (in fact you can find many plastic /rubbish cheapy toxic ingredients) which are completely different concepts but you can actually find MANY -MOST of natural/organic makeup and organic products are vegan and cruelty-free by default.
In conclusion let not focused only in cruelty-free , vegan which is a huge step that I totally follow but instead, lets be conscious about getting a product that tick all the boxes :
The list above belongs to crueltyfreekitty.com
Same way I tell my son who is strictly vegan that I totally respect : do not only check if the food you are eating is animal origin , also be careful with the sugar, colorants, preservatives , refined processed rubbish food that you will end up eating only because that food is vegan. Not all vegan food is good.
I guess is like everything it is all depends on quality ,authenticity and honesty of the brand

Apparently the Chinese government mandates animal testing for imported skincare and make-up. Itâs a huge market, which is probably why these luxury brands are still doing animal testing ????
Yes very sad Rena đ
