Red light therapy benefits for the skin.

Red LED Light – 635 nm
Red LED (Light Emitting Diode) therapy is a non-invasive and non-chemical form of skin treatment that uses red light wavelengths to penetrate deep into the skin and promote healing and rejuvenation. Red LED therapy works by stimulating the production of collagen and elastin, two essential proteins that help to keep the skin firm and youthful looking.
Overall, red LED therapy is a safe, effective, and non-invasive way to improve the health and appearance of the skin.
Benefits:
– Stimulates Collagen Production: Red LED therapy helps to stimulate the production of collagen, which is an essential protein that helps to keep the skin firm, elastic, and youthful looking.
– Reduces Fine Lines and Wrinkles: By stimulating collagen production, red LED therapy can help to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, leading to a smoother, more youthful- looking complexion.
– Improves Skin Texture: Red LED therapy can help to improve skin texture by promoting cellular renewal and boosting circulation, leading to smoother, softer, and more even skin.
– Reduces Inflammation and Redness: Red LED therapy has anti-inflammatory properties and can help to reduce redness and inflammation in the skin, making it a helpful treatment for conditions such as rosacea and acne.
– Enhances Wound Healing: Red LED therapy can help to enhance wound healing and reduce scarring by promoting cellular regeneration and improving circulation.
– Improves Skin Tone: Red LED therapy can help to improve overall skin tone and complexion, making it a popular treatment for those looking to achieve a brighter, more radiant complexion.
– Non-Invasive and Safe: Unlike some other forms of skin treatments, such as chemical peels or laser therapy, red LED therapy is non-invasive and safe for all skin types.

Infra-red Light (780 nm)
Infrared (IR) light therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses light in the infrared wavelength range to target and treat certain skin conditions.
Some of the benefits of infrared light therapy for the skin include:
– Increases Collagen Production: Infrared light therapy can stimulate the production of collagen, a protein that gives skin its elasticity and
firmness. This can help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
– Reduces Inflammation: Infrared light therapy has anti-inflammatory effects, which can help reduce redness, swelling, and inflammation associated with various skin conditions.
– Improves Circulation: Infrared light therapy can improve blood flow to the skin, which can help deliver oxygen and nutrients to the area and promote healing.
– Wound Healing: Infrared light therapy can help promote wound healing by increasing blood flow to the area and stimulating the production of new skin cells.
– Pain Relief: Infrared light therapy can help relieve pain associated with various skin conditions, such as arthritis, by reducing inflammation and increasing blood flow to the area.

What device to get

It is a matter to use a good professional device for home use that you can trust .  Getting a good established brand is key. The facial device should be a replica miniature of those professional machines in the beauty salon.

  1. Hi I would love to know the red light therapy device you recommend. Also do you run on site skincare and soap making classes in Ireland as opposed to online?

    1. Hi Elaine, the red light I recommend is the one my son got for me, he works with all different beauty devices. I will send you info on a private email if you like. I don’t do classes in Ireland any longer. However I am teaching a full day training in skincare formulation in Spain on the 27th of April. You need to fly on the 26th and stay a couple of nights. I am in Manilva, Malaga south of Spain right by the beach. Please let me know and I will send you info. It will be published here on the website as well soon.
